As I look out my office window at the rainy weather this morning, I am reflecting on a quote from George Bernard Shaw – “People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want and if they can’t find them, make them.”
My mentor Kary Oberbrunner says that VICTIMSÂ lie in BED (blame, excuses, denial) while VICTORS put their OAR (ownership, accountability, responsibility) in the water.
Where do you find yourself today? Are you living as a victim of your circumstances or are you living as a victor by finding or creating the best circumstances?
It’s easy to look outside and be down about the rainy day, but I’m choosing to see it as preparation for the beautiful Spring season!
You have the power to choose your attitude and place yourself in the best circumstances possible. You have the power to make the most of whatever circumstances you find yourself in. You have the power to MAKE TODAY GREAT!
I’m in your corner cheering you on.
Go BE INTENTIONALLY GREAT today!
